Beyond the Trail
I was heading out of Yosemite Valley on my way home after a day of shooting the Autumn colors when I stopped to scout this area of the Merced River. The powerful river flowing around the rock formations and the colorful riverbanks caught my eye. I climbed up a nearby rock and spent a bit of time trying to find a composition that didn't call for me to hang off the rock I was standing on, this is the result.
