Last Light on Garrapata Beach Big Sur Coast, California
Beyond the Trail
I was walking along the beach as I was ending a long day trying to capture one last image. The sun was still high on the horizon and nothing in particular was really jumping out at me photographically so I turned around and started back down the beach on my way back to the car. As I walked I saw a formation of three rocks and throught to myself that I may have found the image I was looking for. I set up, found the composition I liked and waited for the light. After about a 30 or 40 minutes the sun started to fall below the horizon the the colors I was waiting for finally came out.
