Beyond the Trail
There's something very peaceful about walking along the banks of a river, the flowing water rushing by you and the soft breeze running over your skin as you enjoy looking for something to photograph, there's nothing else like it. As I walked along the river the water was high and fast causing white caps to form and a lone rock sprouted out of the water framed by the gentle green of dogwood trees in different states of bloom. As soon as I saw this scene I loved it, I gathered my camera, set up my tripod and took it slow and I think the process paid off with a wonderful image.
