Beyond the Trail
This area of the Narrows is called Wallstreet, because the area reminds some people of the sky scraper lined narrow street in New York city. You can see the entrance from a hundred yards away as you approach the area and I knew I wanted to create an image. As we hiked closer I was able to refine my composition and finally settled on this one. The river's current is strong in this area and the slick rocks made getting to this area for the image very difficult but after many minutes, some careful foot placements and my trusty walking stick/tripod I made it in one piece.
